The Department
of Bioinformatics of the College will be organizing a
Seminar on "To Be, Or Not To Be? - In
Bioinformatics" on 20th July 2010 at 10:00 am at GRD IM
Conference Hall, GRD Institute of Management, Dr GRDCS.
The Lead Speakers for the program
are Dr R S Annadurai, CEO,
Prescient Biosciences and Mr R Pravinkumar, Project
Lead-Computational Biology, Prescient Biosciences, Bengalooru.
The aim of the seminar is to create awareness among the students
community wtih regard to Bioinformatics and disseminate
the valuable and potential ethos this discipline is possessing
at present. The seminar would also provide an idea on the
avenues of placement opportunities and higher education in the
related disciplines.
The
seminar is open to the Under Graduate Students (those who would
have passed out in 2010 and pursuing final year) of the Life
Sciences, Physical, Chemical, Mathematical and Computing
Sciences. Those who would like to register may call
