Students Grievance Redressal Cell (SGRC)

The institution is dedicated to offering a safe and supportive learning environment for the students. The Grievance Redressal Cell ensures that grievances are addressed fairly and impartially, while maintaining confidentiality when required. Students with legitimate grievances can submit them in writing or mail the same to the mail id mentioned below.

Objective of the Grievance Redressal Cell

  • To establish a fair, unbiased, and consistent process for addressing the diverse issues faced by students.
  • To foster positive and cooperative relationships among all stakeholders.
  • To encourage students to voice their concerns openly and without fear of retaliation.
  • To ensure grievances are resolved quickly, fairly, with empathy, and maintained in strict confidentiality.

Grievance Redressal Mechanism at the Institution Level

  • In line with UGC regulations, a Student Grievance Redressal Cell is formed.
  • This Cell investigates student grievances and works to resolve them promptly and confidentially.
  • A complaint box is placed in the college office, allowing students to submit their grievances or suggestions in writing. The Convenor of the cell regularly monitors the box to ensure that any issues registered, are addressed as quickly as possible.
  • Students can also raise concerns online through a mail id available in the college website. The Convenor of the cell reviews online submissions periodically to ensure timely attention to any grievances.
  • Upon receiving grievances through either channel, the Cell convenes a meeting to discuss the issues and take appropriate actions within a specified time frame.
